Your Magick is Not Lost: Tapping Into the Power That’s Already Yours
Magick isn’t something you have to go out and find. It’s something you remember. A soft hum beneath the noise. A stirring in your bones when the wind shifts. A pause at twilight that feels… like something is waiting.
I believe that magick is a living, breathing thread that runs through everything… through God, through nature, through story, and through you. And in a world that often prizes speed over stillness, logic over intuition, and productivity over presence… returning to our magick can feel radical. Rebellious, even.
But it’s not new.
It’s ancient.
And it’s already yours.

Magick as a Tool for Transformation
At its core, magick is energy. And energy is always shifting, cycling, transforming. That means you are never stuck, no matter how tangled things feel.
Magick becomes a tool for transformation when you begin working with energy instead of against it. That could look like aligning your intentions with natural rhythms: sunrise, moon phases, equinoxes, or anchoring your energy with sensory rituals, altars, or talismans. These practices aren't about superstition; they’re about reclaiming authorship over your inner world.
Try this: At twilight, stand barefoot outside and name (aloud or silently) what you’re ready to release. As the light shifts, so do you. Let the dusk take what no longer belongs.
Connecting to Your Inner Magick
Personal magick isn’t one-size-fits-all. To me, it’s the way your unique energy moves through the world—your rhythms, your sensitivities, your creativity, your truth. Your magick might be loud and fiery. Or it might be still and full of quiet knowing.
The path to finding it? Follow what feels alive. Follow what brings you back to yourself. Your intuition is the guide, it’s the inner compass, the whisper that knows before your mind can explain. This isn’t about performance. It’s about resonance. It’s about deepening your connection to your own strength, your own power, your own rhythms, and the energies that surround you.
The Intersection of Magick and Everyday Life
Magick isn’t separate from the mundane. It’s woven into it.
Washing dishes while whispering blessings into the water? Magick.
Lighting a candle with intention before opening your laptop? Magick.
Saying no when something isn’t aligned? That’s spellwork, too.
When you recognize that every moment holds energetic potential, you begin living magickally without needing to “add more” to your plate. Your life is the altar.
This is where polarity becomes a beautiful companion. When you understand the Feminine and Masculine as energetic archetypes —yin and yang—you begin to see your days as a dance. Flowing (Feminine). Focusing (Masculine). Receiving. Creating. Resting. Rising. It’s all sacred.
Magick in the Modern World: Skepticism vs. Belief
It can be difficult to speak openly about magick in a world that demands proof. But magick isn’t something to be proven… it’s something to be felt and practiced. Experienced. Remembered. Reclaimed.
Modern practitioners often walk between worlds. We honor the scientific and the spiritual, the practical and the poetic. We are bridgekeepers—reminding others that logic and intuition don’t have to be at war.
Your belief system acts like a lens. It shapes what you notice, what you allow, what you trust. The more you give yourself permission to believe in beauty, in synchronicity, in unseen support... the more those things show up. Faith is a beautiful thing.
Using Magick for Positive Change
Personal transformation ripples outward. Magick isn’t just about changing your inner landscape, it’s also a tool for collective repair, healing, and reclamation. When you work with intention, when you tend to your energy, when you lead from aligned truth, you affect the energetic field around you. That might be through volunteering, creating art, parenting, storytelling, seed planting, community building, or simply becoming more anchored and attuned in your everyday life.
Here’s how I work magick into change:
I write stories that awaken forgotten truths.
I produce and direct films that spark memory and wonder.
I plant beauty into the ordinary and whisper, “You are part of this too.”
You don’t have to wait to be initiated.
You already are.
What We Call It Doesn’t Change What It Is
Magick goes by many names.
Some call it prayer. Others call it spells, intuition, quantum physics, or even the placebo effect. But underneath all the labels is the same core truth:
Magick is the art of consciously co-creating with energy. Whether you explain it through faith, science, spirit, or intention—what you believe shapes what you experience.
So instead of needing to name it perfectly… maybe we just need to let it move through us. Call it whatever you want. Speak it in your language. But don’t forget that the mystery is still real… even when we don’t understand it fully.
Because magick doesn’t need to be understood to be honored.
You just need to notice that when you speak with conviction, when you act with purpose, when you move with intention—things shift.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your magick…
Maybe it’s time to remember that it’s not something far away or only meant for a chosen few.
It’s already humming in your heart. It’s in the wind, the water, the candle’s flicker, the feeling in your gut. It’s in the way your body knows when something is right, and the way your creativity sparks when you follow joy.
Magick is your birthright. And it doesn’t ask you to be perfect, only to be present.
So here’s your invitation:
Live like the world is alive. Because it is.
